Today, being Sunday, was a holiday for the folks at Qlab. So I made my way to the editor's home to meet his wife and children. I had known him for years, but it is the first time I got to meet his gorgeous family.
Over a rather expansive spread for lunch, we caught up and had the rather overdue conversation. It was lovely meeting his wife and his two daughters were adorable. He also showed me around the area he lived in - which was far from the crazy crowds of the city and nice, lush green locality complete with parks, hills and two waterfalls! It was beautiful!
On the way back, we dropped by his cousin brother's place. I know the latter from before, given all our common interest in film making and it was good to catch up with him and his wife as well.
Dinner was a creamy dessert of custard apple with condensed milk from a very popular shop near the Haji Ali mosque, another beautiful part of Mumbai. The mosque is located in the sea with a narrow path that leads to it from the show, and that which gets drowned during high tides. How wonderful!
Tomorrow is my last day in Mumbai and it is expected to be jam packed with the DI and sound mix work which has been lagging thanks to Sinoy's unfortunate illness.
Fingers crossed!
But for today, I enjoyed the break day and a relaxing Sunday.
387 more to go.
