OK, so I am terribly behind writing the blogs once again! Ugh. I clearly have lost the passion for this. So I am going to take a break from it.
BUT... good news for me is that the break is coming at a time when I am feeling on top of the world! It's because I was in Thrissur, my hometown, over the last weekend, representing Pularum Iniyum Naalekal at the International Film Festival of Thrissur! Which was probably the most amazing experience I ever had in my life!
Given that I absolutely cannot do justice to it in words, am sharing the pictures here (yes, this is very lazy of me, but as the title of this post suggests, "I am on a break"!).
In fact, when I started writing this blog, it was more to capture the journey of PIN which, somehow, I felt would be very awesome! I had an intuition that this film will travel, and oh it did! So stopping the blog (or taking a break) at this point makes a lot of sense, because this is most definitely the peak of the PIN journey.
Most of the small team were present, I was showered with a lot of love and support from family, friends (folks came down from as far as Ottapalam and Bangalore!) and even teachers from my school(!), we made headlines in the media, I came on TV and radio after a long time, the workshop on low budget film making that my team and I gave got terrific response, we had about 400 people attending our screening in the biggest single screen possible, I was told by many many people that the film was beautiful and that it would change their lives, I spent some amazing time with my team over a beautiful boat trip and some great food and lots of fun conversation.
Nett, it's all beyond beautiful. So. freaking. beautiful.
With that ladies and gentlemen, adios!
