Post production of my latest feature is progressing rather slowly, but good news is that it is indeed progressing. And every little progress brings a lot of joy!
Today I received a little bit more background score from my composer, which I approved.
Of all my films, this one has had the most complex soundtrack journey, mainly because the script is such that the film evolves from something that barely needs a score to something that completely hinges on a score, and both my music director and I have found it challenging to figure out the right 'sound' for it.
But I believe we are inching close to something truly special and it makes me so very excited!
