Day 163 : The Bus Driver!

Today was Madam' class presentation and parents were invited. The theme her class followed was that of "Community Helpers" and Madam's role was of a bus driver.

When I reached her school, I saw her telling her teacher that contradictory to what the teacher thought, a bus driver wearing a cap is a terrible idea.

Anyway, after that initial hiccup (Madam won the argument, by the way), she came on to the stage, confident and full of smiles, minus a cap, and said her lines into the mic. She made me proud!

I also enjoyed meeting her classmates, who grilled me with questions like "How was our presentation?", "Was it good?", "How good?", "Did you enjoy it?", "How much?" etc. etc. I used to see them quite often earlier when I had drop Madam to school in the morning. But now with the school bus on, I don't get to see them at all. So it was good "catch up". One little girl whose parents had not attended the presentation, even adopted me as her mom for the day. She hung around me most of the time, and even waved to me from the stage while dishing out her lines. Adorable!

Proud mom. Happy day!
