My parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary a few days ago and I wanted to give them a nice little gift. For their 25th anniversay I had sent them to Bali, for their 30th anniversary I had taken them to Europe, so for their 35th anniversary, I thought they could do a round of Royal Rajasthan.
As of today, I have booked everything - the tickets, the hotels, the car - and in the process, got a mini virtual tour of the various destinations - Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikarner - myself. It is indeed a gorgeous place and one that I would love to visit myself some day!
They will be leaving at the end of September for a 9 day trip and am super excited for them! I can't wait for them to get there and be wowed by the place (and am hoping, also by some of the palaces turned hotels that I have booked!).
Here's to my parents and their 35 years of togetherness!
344 more to go.
