Early on, my dad had instilled an interest towards crime fiction in me. Recently, I had been lapping up book after book of thrilling investigations and the latest two are Ian Rankin's "Even Dogs in the Wild" and Michael Connelly's "The Black Box". Both took off with a slow start, but soon became engaging, fast paced and absolutely enjoyable.
